- 10% of lymphomas
- Originates in lymph tissue
- B symptoms: fever, chills, sweats, weight loss in ~1/3 (typically w/advanced disease)
- Decreased appetite
- Painless adenopathy (in particular, head/neck)
- Cough/sob if mediastinal involvement
- Generalized puritus in up to 30% of patients w/Hodgkins
- Sometimes pain in lymph nodes when drinking alcohol
- Progressive "rubbery" adenopathy, in particular head/neck/supraclavicular areas
- Sometimes splenomegaly, hepatomegaly
- CT imaging chest/abd/pelvis to define extent of adenopathy, other organ involvement
- Labs include cbc, esr, ldh, chem, hiv
- Excisional or core biopsy for diagnosis
