- Malignant hyperthermia → e.g. inhalational anesthetics - typically in OR or soon thereafter
- Neuroleptic malignant syndrome → e.g. haldol, chlorpromazine (Sx: high fever, cramps, confusion, autonomic instability)
- Many other meds - including broad range of abx, drugs of abuse like methamphetamines
