Symptoms

  • If CP→ present from birth
  • Affects legs>arms

Physical Exam Findings

  • Feet turned in
  • Flexion at hips and knees
  • Tight hip aductors
  • Walk w/circumduction of hips
  • Knees can cross (scissor-like)
  • Arms less affected→ though still abducted and elbows bent
  • Increased tone and hyper-reflexia of afftected limbs, Babinski present
