- Benign peripheral nerve sheath tumors
- Can be isolated, in which case asx
- Sometimes pain from local effect/compression
- Neurofibromatosis (see link) characterized by > 6 neurofibromas, cafe au lait spots, other findings
- Raised, flesh colored nodules or papules
- Soft and usually non-tender
