- Common in patients w/DM, obesity
- Increased risk w/age
- Aside from appearance, usually asymptomatic
- Sometimes itch or bleed if traumatized
- Flesh-colored growths, often attached via a small stalk of skin
- Sometimes slightly darker than surrounding skin
- Variable in size (millimeters to centimeters)
- Tend to grow @ points of friction→ under arms, around neck, eyelids, groin
