Etiology

  • Rare, acquired, autoimmune blistering disorder

Risk Factors

  • Ages 30s-40s
  • Travels with Crohns disease, multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, lupus, other

Symptoms

  • Tense listers form at sites of minor trauma
  • Can affect mucous membranes

Physical Exam Findings

  • Blisters at feet, elbows, knees, hands
  • Can also occur in mouth, eyes, other mucous membranes
  • Heals w/scarring
