Etiology

  • Idiopathic peripheral vasospasm

Symptoms

  • Acute
  • Painfu|
  • Hypoperfusion of fingers and sometimes toes: can appear white, sometimes blue
  • Typically associated w/exposure to cold temp
  • Improves w/warming
  • Typically does not lead to skin death/ulceration

Physical Exam Findings

  • Acute
  • Painful
  • White appearance of distal fingers or affected site; sometimes blue
