Etiology

  • Ace-Inhibitors most common, also beta-blockers, others.

Risk Factors

  • Most common medication associated w/cough is Ace-Inhibitor
  • Onset of cough can occur at any time (days to years after initiation)
  • Easier to make clinical connection if cough starts soon after beginning med

Symptoms

  • Sub-acute or chronic dry cough
  • No other explanation found
  • Resolves with d/c of medication

Physical Exam Findings

  • Typically unremarkable
