- Many meds can contribute to diarrhea
- Metformin, laxatives, olmesartan, chemotherapy agents, many others
- Other agents: excessive caffeine intake; chronic ETOH abuse; sorbitol (diet candy)
- Try to link onset of watery diarrhea to start of Rx/exposure; though sometimes delayed onset
