- Cross over between lupus, scleroderma, and polymyositis
- Muscle and joint aches
- Weakness, proximal > distal
- Finger pain after exposure to cold; can lead to non-healing ulcers
- SOB/DOE with pulmonary htn or interstitial lung dz
- GERD and dysphagia
- Raynauds (secondary) → fingers blanch/hurt when exposed to cold temp; can result in digital ulcers, necrosis
- Sausage type swelling of fingers
- Elevated JVP, edema, loud P2, other findings of plum htn
- Dry crackles if interstitial lung disease
- + Anti-U1-RNP antibodies; sometimes + high titer ANA in speckled pattern
- Often elevated ESR, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia
