Etiology

  • Small vessel vasculitis

Symptoms

  • Fatigue
  • Arthralgias
  • Myalgias
  • Sweats
  • Wt loss
  • Skin ulcers
  • Recurrent/progressive cough, f, c, wheezing, hemoptysis
  • Less often nasal sx c/w GPA
  • Lab evidence glomerulonepthritis
  • Often delays in dx as rx for more common infxn/inflam processes
  • Peripheral neuropathy w/weakness, numbness

Physical Exam Findings

  • Palpable purpura
  • Skin ulcer/necrosis
  • Peripheral neuropathy related: decreased distal sensation, weakness, diminished reflexes
  • Lung findings consistent with focal infiltrate or ILD
