- Acute pain if infected or related to duct obstruction
- Cancer slowly progressive
- Can involve CN7→ peripheral palsy
- Mass just anterior to the ears if infected
- Sometimes pus from parotid duct opening on inside of cheek
- Slowly progressive, firm, non-tender mass if malignant
