- Congenital narrowing of desending aorta
- Typically picked up in childhood but can manifest in adulthood, sometimes assoc w/bicuspid AS
- Develop over years
- Leg claudication
- Stroke or other assoc w/severe htn
- Persistent unexplained htn
- Pulse volume difference btwn upper vs lower extremities
- Mumur AS if also bicuspid valve
- Chf findings if severe & prolonged
