- Distal vasospasm assoc w/an underlying d/o such as scleroderma, SLE, cryoglobulinemia, mixed connective tissue disorder, cancer
- Related to underlying dz
- In fingers, vasospam can be severe and disabling, leading to ischemia and necrosis and finger loss
- Spasm often triggered by cold temp
- Other findings of scleroderma or underlying dz
- Can appear white, sometimes blue
- Fingers w/ischemic changes, ulcers, pain, secondary infection
