Risk Factors

  • Eating under cooked pork or meat from wild animal that's infected

Symptoms

  • Within 1-2 d after ingestion (enteral phase): nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea
  • 2 weeks after ingestion (systemic phase): fever, prominent myalgias, headache, fatigue, facial swelling, rash, weakness, fatigue, cough, sob, chest pain

  • Fever
  • Rash
  • Periorbital edema
