Etiology

  • An accelerated glomerulonephritis secondary to any of the following: Ab against basement membrane (e.g. Goodpastures), Immune complex deposition (e.g. lupus nephritis, IgA nephropathy) or ANCA+ vasculitis (e.g. granulomatosis w/polyangiitis)

Symptoms

  • Wt loss
  • Dark urine
  • Generalized fatigue
  • Edema over weeks to mos

Physical Exam Findings

  • Htn
  • Edema
  • Gross hematuria
