Other Diagnoses

• Primary shoulder problems - can occas radiate down arm and towards neck

• Carotid artery inflammation or dissection (Sx: acute neuro deficits in carotid distribution)

• Apical lung tumor (Sx: cough, sob, shoulder pain, hemoptysis, smoking hx)

• Inflammation of thyroid gland or cervical lymph nodes

• Other intra-thoracic process - though will typically also have cp, sob, and other chest related sx
