- Tongue biting
- Incontinence
- Sometimes preceded by aura
- Generalized convulstions/shaking
- Post-ictal state where dont recall events and relatively somnolent
- Can have injuries if fall
- Not responsive to words or stimuli
- Generalized muscle stiffness/body rigidity
- Limb shaking, tongue biting, frothing at mouth
- Typically last < 1 min (longer duration carry significant risk morbidity)
- Post seizure confused, amnestic to event
- Might sustain injuries if fall or strike object during seizure; or if seizure occurred while driving, operating equipment
