Etiology

  • Often in compromised host

Symptoms

  • Acute redness
  • Induration
  • Fever
  • One or multiple
  • Initially painless
  • Evolve rapidly (<24h), macule--> pustules/bullae--> ulcer w/gangrenous tissue

Physical Exam Findings

  • Redness
  • Induaration
  • Bualle
  • Central eschar/ulcer
