Etiology

  • Often traumatic
  • Can also be congenital

Risk Factors

  • Prior nasal trauma

Symptoms

  • Nasal obstruction

Physical Exam Findings

  • May have obvious curve or deformity in nose (ie doesnt appear straight)
  • Unable to see directly up nasal passage when viewed with otoscope from opening of nares
  • Impaired air movement through one nasal passage
