  • Exposure in tropics

Symptoms

  • Incubation 4-7d
  • Aches
  • Maculo-pap rash
  • Can recur
  • Abrupt onset high fever
  • Retro-orbital pain
  • Bone/muscle/joint pain
  • Often low back pain
  • Mucosal bleeding from thrombocytopenia
  • Sx resolve in 3-4d

Physical Exam Findings

  • High fever
  • Petechiae
  • Mucosal bleeding
