Symptoms

  • Acute ear pain
  • Reduced hearing
  • Other URI symptoms → cough, nasal congestion, fever

Physical Exam Findings

  • Evidence effusion behind ear drum
  • Favoring bacterial→ drum red, opaque, bulging
