Etiology

  • GNRs or gc/chlamydia if assoc w/sexually transmitted infxn

Symptoms

  • Dysuria
  • Fever
  • Male w/ acute, unilateral pain in scrotal area/testis
  • Urinary frequency

Physical Exam Findings

  • Painful, enlarged testicle
  • Sometimes hydrocele
  • Painful, enlarged epididymis
