These are uncommon diseases, typically picked up at birth or in early childhood. The list below is restricted to those congenital disorders which might escape early detection and manifest in adulthood. Congenital disorders identified and adressed during childhood are not discussed below. Care of these patients can be complicated and typically requires sub-specialty input.
